APD PRESS RELEASE Search Warrant Houston's Custom Framing & Fine Art 07-03-14

On 07/03/14 at approximately 11am, the City of Ashland Police Department executed a search warrant at 270 East Main Street, Houston's Custom Framing & Fine Art, as part of an ongoing investigation into the crime of Invasion of Personal Privacy.  Several items of evidentiary value were recovered during the search warrant and Thomas Houston was arrested.   Mr. Houston was lodged into the Jackson County Jail on 20 Counts of Invasion of Personal Privacy and 1 count of Tampering with Physical Evidence.
The investigation indicates that Houston was viewing people in a neighboring businesses bathroom facility without their knowledge or consent.   Digital evidence was seized and will be analyzed. Furthermore, multiple victims are expected to be discovered during this ongoing criminal investigation.  Anyone with knowledge about this investigation is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Warren Hensman at 541-482-5211 .
Due to the Fourth of July weekend, specifically the Parade & Nighttime Activities, a Police representative will not be available for press inquires until Monday, July 7th.
