Ashland Forest Resiliency Public Tour April 12th

Here’s a chance to get out in the woods and learn more about what’s happening in your watershed. Ashland Forest Resiliency Project (AFR) partners are hosting a tour of our recent work including an area for controlled, or prescribed underburning planned this spring. We’ll also visit an active site where workers are thinning brush and small trees in order to perpetuate large, old trees in the Ashland Creek Research Natural Area within the watershed.

When: Saturday, April 12th. 9AM to 1PM
RSVP to reserve a spot, transportation will be provided
Email chamberc@ashland.or.us or call (541) 552-2066

I hope you can spend a few hours with us. We value your input on our ongoing work in AFR.  Visit our website at www.ashlandwatershed.org to see the most recent AFR project video. Please RSVP for the tour so we can plan transportation.

Sincerely,

Chris
