Volunteers are needed for the Ashland Community Resource Center

The Ashland Community Resource Center, a newly established resource center which is scheduled to open later this year is looking for volunteers.   The Resource Center, a partnership between, ACCESS, and Options for Homeless Residents of Ashland (OHRA) and funded through a grant from the City of Ashland will be open 5 days a week and will offer a variety of resources to families and individuals needing assistance, including: case management, resource referrals, mailing address, bus tokens, phone charging, and internet access among many other services.  Shower and laundry facilities will be offered at a separate mobile trailer unit.  Volunteers are needed for both the mobile shower unit and at the Resource Center.

The City of Ashland, ACCESS and OHRA have been working to bring together the resources to create a center to serve those in need for the past year, to read more about the history and evolution of this unique community resource select the link to the Ashland Community Resource Center page.
