City Attorney submits Resignation

Citing health reasons, City Attorney Richard Appicello has submitted his resignation.

Appicello began his service to the City of Ashland in September of 2006.  During that time, Appicello served first as Assistant City Attorney and in December of 2007 was promoted to City Attorney.

“I am grateful for Richard’s service to our community and wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” said Mayor Stromberg.  “We hope to have someone in place early next year.  In the meantime, the City will hire additional outside counsel to help the Assistant City Attorney with the existing workload.”

Appicello’s last day is December 15.
