Bicycle Traffic School Program Application

BICYCLE TRAFFIC SCHOOL PROGRAM APPLICATION

For bicycle violation offenders who have not had a bicycle citation or participated in a bicycle traffic school program within the last two years, the Ashland Municipal Court offers a bicycle traffic school program in lieu of paying the fine on your bike violation. You will learn the laws, your rights as cyclist and what you can do to reduce your chance of becoming a statistic.

There is a $25.00 non-refundable administrative fee for this program. There is also a court approved $50.00 online traffic safety education class for this program.

Once the court approves your application, further instructions will be provided.

By submitting this application:
I hereby certify that I have not previously participated in a bicycle school program through this or any other court within the past two years. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SUBMITTING THIS AGREEMENT, I AM WAIVING MY RIGHT TO TRIAL AND ENTERING A PLEA OF NO CONTEST.

IF I FAIL TO COMPLETE THE COURSE ON THE ASSIGNED DATE/TIME , MY NO CONTEST PLEA WILL BE ENTERED BY THE COURT, THE PRESUMPTIVE FINE AMOUNT LISTED ON MY CITATION ALONG WITH THE $25.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE WILL BE DUE TO THE COURT AND THE CONVICTION WILL APPEAR ON COURT RECORD. THE PRESUMPTIVE FINE LISTED ON MY CITATION AND THE $25.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE MUST BE PAID WITHIN 30 DAYS OF BEING REVOKED.
