FAQ - Police
Can I be fingerprinted at APD?
Q: Where can I be fingerprinted?
The Records Dept of Ashland Police fingerprints for the public. Fingerprinting is done only on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. No appointment is necessary.
The charge is $35 for the first card, and $10 for each additional card. We accept cash or check only, and you will need to bring in a gov't issued form of I.D. such as a driver's license or passport.
We use a livescan, inkless form of fingerprinting. The process takes approximately 15 minutes, but at times it can be quite busy and may take longer, so please plan accordingly.
