 CALL TO ORDER

 Wolske called meeting to order at 9:31 AM

 Members Present: David Wolske (Chair), Bernard Spera, George Schoen, Dana Greaves, Andrew Vandenberg

 FBO Present: Bob Skinner

 Members Absent: Lincoln Zeve, Susan Moen, Daniel Palomino, William Skillman

 Vote all ayes. Minutes approved as presented

 Public Forum - none

 OLD BUSINESS:

1.                   Budget Review – The Committee will have a budget meeting in September.

2.                   Action Item List

a.       Hangar enclosure project – none

b.       Landscaping/Irrigation (Driveway) – Invitation to Bid (ITB) is out for this project and bids due July 19, 2018.

c.        Restroom Improvements –Draft ITB attached. Spera would like to have murals painted in the bathroom after the project is finished. Skinner commented that the bid specifies white tiles   and believes dark tile and grout would be a better choice. The Commission agreed that they should put out this bid in the fall.

d.       Tree Trimming update - Contractor to return in the fall. Skinner is pleased with the height with of the trees that have been trimmed. This will need to revisits on a continual basis because the trees continue to grow.

e.       Spring at hydrant - Continuing to monitor this situation. No current actions.

1.       NEW BUSINESS:

A.                  Airport: Good Neighbor Items – none

B.                  Next month’s meeting Airport Master Plan – One and a half hours at the next meeting needed to discuss aviation forecasts and site/facility planning associated with the forecast. Most likely our planner from the FAA will also be onsite for the meeting.

2.       FBO REPORT:

A.                   Attached - Skinner mentioned that it has been busy due to the wildfires. On July 20, 2018 the National Guard is having a camp out at the Airport and there will be an additional one hundred vehicles.

B.                   Maintenance Updates – none

3.       INFORMATIONAL ITEMS:

A.            Brown Bag Lunch

 Open Discussion

 A letter of appreciation was shared with the Commission from the Rescue Ranch thanking the Commission for inviting them to   Airport Day.
