Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.
Discussion on Gateway Submission
The commission discussed the best way to pare down the number of submissions from 63 to a more manageable number.
The group reviewed the criteria stated in the RFQ and Garrington’s suggestions of probing deeper into each criterion. The group also reviewed the suggestions provided by Kristin Calhoun of RACC.
The commission agreed that each commissioner would individually “sort” the submissions into three categories: ‘Yes’, ‘Maybe’ and ‘No’. At the next meeting on April 18, the commission will strive to reach a consensus on the ‘Yes’ pile. They recognize that some members may select a submission that another may not have selected and that as a group they will have to grapple with those decisions.
