Regular Meeting

Chair Bussell called meeting to order at 8:20 a.m.

Minutes

The December minutes were approved.

OAC Grant

Edson reported the OAC Cultural Tourism Grant is not appropriate for the PAC and a better fit may be the OAC Building Community Grant which is due in late September.  She suggests developing a budget for the Utility Box Phase II project.  In addition she reported that there is some interest in developing a volunteer Public Art booster club.  Julis from the restaurant Tease is interested in helping to raise funds for public art and the suggested booster club.

Funding

Seltzer presented an overview of funds available for Public Art.

Goal Setting

Bussell provided a list of PAC projects that have been discussed and asked the commission to discuss the list.  The PAC agreed to hold a “goal setting” special meeting to devote time to reviewing the list and identifying priorities.

Bussell will send the list to the group and find a date when the Commission is available for a four hour goal meeting.
